Gloria Marie Francis, age 95, passed away peacefully at home on January 14, 2024.
Gloria was born December 16, 1928, to Thurman and Marion Schofield. She was a lifelong resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado and graduated from Colorado Springs High School and Blair Business College. Gloria was very active in the community, serving on numerous boards and committees, helping countless people.
Gloria is survived by her sons: Steve Groth, Larry Groth, and Jim (Marla) Groth; daughter, Ivy (Lee) Honnen; grandchildren: Melody, Mark, Allison, Adam, and Andrew; and great-grandchildren: Ansleigh, Ariel, Ryleii, Leah, Beth, and Elsie.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday, January 20, 2024, at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910. Reception to follow at Larry’s.
