Harry Grant Smith, age 90, passed away on August 31, 2026. He was a resident of Firestone, CO, for 20 years and was formerly a resident of Longmont, CO. He was a computer manager and later in life worked at Home Depot in doors/windows.
Harry was born on January 11, 1936, to Roy Henry Smith and Hulda Geraldine Geddis (Smith). He married Donne Elsie Quasney on May 27th, 1961, in Philadelphia, PA. Later he married Joanne Wheeler Johnson on September 2, 1977, in Boulder, CO.
Harry was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed watching many sports, including football, hockey, and golf. Harry attended Mount Carmel Joint Senior High School and graduated on May 26, 1953. He joined the Navy and served from 1953 to 1957 with part of his tour serving on the USS Potter.
He is survived by his children: Mark Alan Smith and Lisa Alma Smith; his grandson, Daniel Elisha Smith; and his great-grandchildren: Jonah, Elsie, and Connor. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Hulda, and his brothers, Sterling and Roger Smith.
