Henry L. Schodorf passed away on July 10, 2026, through heaven’s gate with ascendency to eternal joy.
Born in November 1938, to parents Leo & Gertrude Schodorf (now deceased), he was raised with a sister, Yvonne, and two brothers, Harold & Tom. Graduating from high school in 1956, early education reflected working on the railroad, going to Ohio State for 2 years and enlisting in the USAF.
Exiting the AF he settled in Colorado Springs, 1963, with a wife, Mary, and eventually three children, Susan, Carol & Christopher. While raising his family, he worked at AT&T, KKTV, & Looart Press during this time, while attending the University of Colorado.
He finished his education with a combined BS, BA, & MBA, enabling him to teach at the community college, USC, & Regis University (for 20 Years) and awarded Instructor of the Year (twice) before retiring
He remarried in 1999 to Mary Shields who was, as he said, the “love of my life”, and for the next 20 years enjoyed traveling in a 5th wheel, wintering in Arizona, plus worldwide travel.
Aside from his three children and three grandchildren, he is survived by his brothers & sister, wife Mary, 6 step children, numerous step grandchildren, nephews & nieces.
