James Skinner, age 83, passed away in Colorado Springs, Colorado on April 12, 2023, after a lengthy battle with cancer. James was born in Rocky Ford, Colorado, on January 18, 1940. He married Carole Lee Ferrick on June 30, 1961, in Topeka, Kansas. He served for six years in the Kansas National Guard and retired from Goodyear with 40 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Carole; son, Kurt (Trudy); grandson, Andrew (Rachel); granddaughter, Grace; and sisters: Carol (Bill) Manion and Rowena Turner.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Megan Skinner; brothers: Cletus and Gary; and sister, Jean Davis.
