Jane Studebaker, 90, of Colorado Springs, CO (originally of Keeseville, NY), was welcomed into Heaven’s open arms on August 30, 2026.
Born February 1, 1936, in Keeseville, New York, Jane was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose love and care shaped the lives of all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her 71 years of dedicated marriage to Robert Lewis Studebaker have inspired generations.
Jane had a lifelong love for fiber arts and found joy in cross-stitch, knitting, quilting, needlepoint, and embroidery. Over the years, she completed more than 50 full quilts along with dozens of other fiber art projects. Her handiwork warmed her family, marked special occasions, and became treasured keepsakes that will continue to carry her memory forward.
Jane was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Hummel.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Studebaker; her sons, Bob Studebaker and Patrick Studebaker; and her daughters: Sandy Hodges, Mary Ring, May Velke, and Kathleen Reed. She also leaves behind more than 33 grandchildren, more than 20 great-grandchildren, and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
Jane’s family will remember her with enduring love and gratitude for the life she lived, the beauty she created, and the legacy she leaves behind.
