Jodee Lyn Lofgren was a devoted wife, mother, granddaughter, sister, friend, and follower of Jesus. She departed her loving family while at home and peacefully in her sleep on July 13, 2022.

Jodee was born in Billings, Montana, on March 17, 1970 to Woody and Cathy (Klotz) Woods Jr. She graduated from Lockwood Junior High School in Billings, MT, and Smoky Hill High School after moving to Aurora, Colorado, with her mother. While working at KFC she met the love of her life, John, and they married on March 25, 1989.

She was mother to Zackery, Taylor, and Caden. She raised her children with love and devotion in Colorado Springs with her husband, John.

Jodee’s passions included interior decorating, reading, praying, crafting, baking, and caring for friends, pets, and family. She loved to be silly, watch romantic comedies, dance to Bon Jovi, and always made fast friends with those around her. She spoke with her Grandma Woods by phone every day. She was most proud of raising her children as she always felt that her purpose in life was to be a mom. She often said, “Being a mother is the most rewarding job I’ve had in my life and ever will.” Jodee was a caring, bright light in this world that will be forever missed and can never be replaced.

She is survived by her loving husband, John Lofgren of Colorado Springs, CO, and children Zackery Lofgren of Fort Collins, CO, Taylor Lofgren Yingling (husband Will) of Longmont, CO, and Caden Lofgren of Colorado Springs, CO; her father, Woody Woods Jr. (wife Karen) of Billings, MT; her brother, Jason Woods (wife Alisha) and their children of Southlake, TX; her stepfather Thomas Shelley of Bluffton, SC; and her grandmother, Bettye Woods of Billings, MT. She was preceded in death by her mother, Cathy (Klotz) Shelley, and her grandparents, Joe and Kathleen Klotz and Woodrow Woods Sr.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for August 6, 2022, at Fellowship of the Rockies Church located at 1625 S 8th St, Colorado Springs, CO. If you would like to attend the celebration of life in person or remotely, please email jodeelofgrenfuneral@gmail.com. More details will be sent via email.
