Johnny Ray was not only my dad’s (Paul Bejarano)best friend and partner in crime, I called him my brother. John and Mary lou’s family were our family. Although, time may have passed they were always in our thoughts and prayers. He will be greatly missed. Love you
I’m so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. He was quiet but made me laugh when would play softball.
John was my brother and my protector when we were young kids. We had many beautiful memories as kids playing with our friends and our large family of cousins. I will always cherish our relationship and I will especially miss his phone call on my birthday. John never forgot my birthday.!! Rest in Peace John, always in my heart ❤️
Johnny Ray as I knew him for the past 68 years. As toddlers in Norfolk Virginia where my brother took me for a walk to find our mom at the corner store. From our school years when our dog Midnight would follow us to school, there was my brother taking him back home. Through High school where John would drive his friends to school along with the love of his life Mary Lou. We celebrated each other’s graduations also we celebrated our weddings together as well as the birth of our children. Our parents Anniversary and retirements. We always called each for our birthdays. John always teased me that I was catching up to him. I guess I will this coming year where he will be forever 69. Love you always and forever my one and only Brother! Thanks for a life time of memories!
I’m going to miss you and our phone calls every week. I am thankful that you and my mom were die hard broncos fans and would call each other during the games to cheer them on . I have many memories and you will greatly be missed and all the great times our families had together. I know that God had your wings ready for you and a place for you in heaven.
We have not seen John and Mary Lou for many years. John’s parents Bea and Armand took care of our three children(toddler and twin infants)beginning in 1978 to 1992, at their home in Pueblo.
John and Mary Lou were living in Colorado Springs at the time. Our. children loved playing with Ninka and Lisa Romero.
We are deeply saddened by John’s passing.
The Romero’s are a wonderful family and our lives are blessed by the Romero’s being apart of our extended family.
Gods blessings and peace.
My condolences to the family 🌹🙏. You all are in my prayers 💕🙏.
