Jonathan Martin Celano of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away on Saturday June 25, 2022 peacefully in his sleep, due to heart failure. He is survived by his wife Sandy Celano and father Russell Henderson.
Marty touched the lives of so many people across multiple generations. He leaves a huge hole in the hearts of his family and friends who were always entertained by his stories and witty sense of humor. He truly had the gift of gab and could spin a tale with the best of them. This made him a perfect radio personality, which he loved. He may have even told you that he was the worlds best salesmen, and would take any opportunity to prove it.
Marty is surely at peace, joining his son Gage and Mother Val. He too would want you to be at peace knowing that his suffering is over, and that he lived a life full of happiness and love. Remember the good times we’ve spent together and celebrate his life, and not the pain of his passing. Carry a piece of his memory with you every day to help lift you up. That’s exactly how Marty would have wanted it.
A visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 pm on Wednesday July 6, at the Shrine of Remembrance located at 1730 E. Fountain Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80910. The funeral service will be held at the same location on the same day at 2:00 pm. The burial will be immediately after at Evergreen Cemetery across from the Shrine of Remembrance at 3:00 pm. A reception will be held following the service at Jim’s Neighborhood Lounge at 1833 Peterson Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80915.
