Joshua Imholte passed away on March 5, 2022. He was born on December 5, 2004, in Minnesota to Kevin and Sandra Imholte and has been a resident of Colorado Springs since 2005. Joshua was a 25 week, 1 lb micro premie and a ferocious fighter since day one. Despite his disability and medical issues he always smiled and had an infectious laugh. Joshua enjoyed music, driving, singing, basketball, and swinging at the park.
Joshua is survived by his parents: Kevin and Sandra Imholte; his sister: Christina Imholte; his brother: Joseph Imholte; his grandparents: Vernon and Brenda Wellman, Myron Imholte, Ruediger and Gabriele Meiser; and his great-grandmother: Anna Katharina Meiser. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents: Eilef and Margaret Ohlgren, Horst Meiser, Helmut and Wilma Schwindt.
A gathering will be held Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Imholte’s home.
