It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Justin James Lowe. He departed this world far too soon at the age of 37, on November 2, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. A beloved father and construction foreman, Justin was a resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado for 35 years.
Born on June 7, 1986, to Rick Lowe and Jamie (Hancock) Lowe in Dallas, Texas, Justin was a man who embraced life and attacked each day with vigor. He held an unyielding passion for the great outdoors with camping, hunting, and fishing amongst his most treasured pastimes. Rare was the weekend that didn’t find Justin casting a line into a serene lake.
Yet it was his daughter, Mary Katherine, affectionately known as Kat, who provided the light in his life. He was a devoted father, ever present to support her and guide her. Their bond was a testament to the love that they both naturally emitted. Justin’s memory will forever live in Kat’s smile.
Justin made an impact on every person who ever had the pleasure of meeting him. His warmth, his laughter, his passion for life infected all around him. He leaves behind a legacy of adventure, hard work, and love.
He is survived by his child: Mary Katherine; his parents: Rick Lee Lowe and Jamie Dawn Lowe; and his siblings: Stephanie Rhodes, Joshua Lowe, and Zachariah Lowe.
