Kum Ja Boyer – April 18, 2026

Kum Ja Boyer, 77 years young, passed away on April 18, 2026. She was a resident of Colorado Springs for 32 years and was formerly a resident of Masan, Korea; Namyang Chil Ri, Korea; Gwacheon, Korea; El Paso, TX; Bitburg, Germany; and Copperas Cove, Texas. She was a wonderful wife, worked as a seamstress, hotel maid and the toughest job in the world, Army Wife. 

Kum Ja was born on March 16, 1949, in Masan, South Korea.  On August 17, 1981, she married Jeffery L. Boyer in El Paso, TX. 

Kum Ja was fond of cooking and gardening.  She was also a great homemaker.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jeffery.  She was preceded in death by her sister and brother.  She also is survived by her nephew, Arzola Fuller; niece, Carrie Fuller; and brother-in-law, Arzola Fuller Sr.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at the Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910. She will be inurned at Pikes Peak National Cemetery.
