Lawrence (Larry) Amsberry Cordova was born outside of Tokyo, Japan at Camp Zama Army Base on October 21, 1969, and passed away November 14, 2022, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was the first-born son of Lloyd and Gwen Cordova.
After multiple moves within the United States and Europe, Larry graduated from Frankfort American High School (located in Germany) in 1990.
Larry thoroughly enjoyed going to Air Force Football games, energetically cheering on the Falcons. You could also see Larry proudly donning his Broncos attire, while watching not only the Denver Broncos but any football game that would be on TV.
Traveling was greatly enjoyed by Larry, visiting Las Vegas on multiple occasions, Hawaii, Disneyworld, multiple European destinations, and cruising the Caribbean.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd, and Gwen. He is survived by his younger brother John.
A Celebration of Life will be held on February 4, 2023, at 11:00 am at the Community of Christ Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
