Lillian E. Thompson, 52, passed away on Saturday, July 16th at UC Health Memorial Hospital Central in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  She was a new resident of Colorado Springs, having only moved here in May of 2022, and was formerly a well-known and beloved resident of Biloxi, Mississippi.

Lillian was born on May 21, 1970 to Theresa Rae Hood in Richmond, Indiana.  When Lillian was a teen, her family moved to the Mississippi Gulf Coast.  There, she met her lifelong partner, Michael Desporte, at 18.  They were inseparable until she was widowed in January of 2013.

Lillian was fond of animals and loved her cat, Panchito, dearly.  She also enjoyed the fine arts, having a wide array of interests in music, movies, and television alike.  Above all, though, Lillian loved her family and friends. She would do anything in her power to help those that she cared about, and even those she didn’t know.  Her kind heart and genuine soul will never be forgotten by all who were lucky enough to know her.

She is survived by her loving children, Allen Desporte (Samantha Desporte), and Katlyn Odle (Kyle Odle), and her siblings, Ronald Thompson and Gayle Woods (Tammy Woods).

She is preceded in death by her mother, Theresa Rae Woods, her husband, Michael L. Desporte, her niece (remembered as her daughter), Krystal Thompson, her siblings, Yvette Thompson, Raymond Thompson, and Richard Hood.

At this time, memorial services are to be determined.  The family will release service information as soon as possible.
