On October 2, 2022, Linda J. Lawson, 75, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away. She was born to Juanita and James Deuser in Colorado Springs.

During her childhood, Linda relocated with her family to Culver City, California, and graduated from Culver City High School in 1965. Linda returned to the Colorado Springs area in 1970 and held various positions for many years at Current, where she met her husband, Verlin Lawson, whom she wed in 1980. She also worked at Bank of America and retired from Comcast.

Richly blessed with creative talent, Linda enjoyed crafting and especially crafting gifts for others. She would spend many hours meticulously and happily making cards to give her loved ones for special occasions. Not only are her cards beautiful works of art, but also tangible expressions of her love and kind heart.

Preceded in death by husband Verlin Lawson in 2021, Linda is survived by her two daughters, Tiffanie Bueschel and Tracey Hooyboer, and her three grandchildren, Cameron Gabardi, Breann Hooyboer, and Noah Hooyboer.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on October 19, 2022 at Shrine of Remembrance, East Fountain Blvd. Colorado Springs, CO 80910.
