Margo Julean Harris, 68, passed away October 3, 2022, at 3:00 am. She was born November 17, 1953, at Flagler, Colorado to Father Orley M. Whitaker and Mother Margaret J. Watson. They preceded her in death.

She is survived by 2 daughters: Summer E. Fournier and Shadai J.L. Harris; six grandchildren: Crystal Fournier, Alma Fournier, Arley Fournier, Olivia Brown, Osiris Brown, Bonnie Brown. Amos Fournier preceded her in death. Four great grandchildren: Silas Fournier, Scarlett Luna, Lilly Locklear, Lila Locklear. Survived by brother Milton Whitaker and sister Maretha Washington; stepmother, Ginger Whitaker; niece, Samone Whitaker; great niece, Alianna Chatman; two nephews: Boshner and Glenn Whitaker.
 
Margo attended 2 years Dodge City High School and graduated at Fairfield High School. Attended Salt City Business College in Hutchinson, Kansas.
 
Graduated Dodge City Community College in nursing. Attended Ottawa University. Received many hours in continuing education hours.
 
She worked as a nurse assistant for 8 years, then as a L.P.N for a total of 40 years. Medically retiring from Evans Army Hospital.
 
She was a Girl Scout leader for several years. She was a foster parent for several children.
She loved her family and friends. She adored animals, horses were her passion.
 
Memorial services will be held in private with family. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Shadai Harris, 804 Bennett Ave, Colorado Springs, Colorado, 80909 or Summer Fournier, 15 Villa Rd. 216 Greenville, South Carolina 29615.
