Marjie Joanne Clasen, 92 years old, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on December 6, 2023 of natural causes.
Everyone knew her as “Joey” and she was born on May 2, 1931 to her parents, Herbert and Bulah Brown in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She graduated from Colorado Springs High School in 1949.
While attending her junior year of high school she met Elmer Richard Clasen and they married in 1950, going on to having two children, Darcy and Guy.
Joey dedicated her life to being a compassionate wife and mother. She made it her priority to improve the lives of her family and friends. We will miss her greatly.
Joey is survived by her husband, Elmer Richard Clasen; her daughter, Darcy Ordahl (John Ordahl); her son, Guy Clasen (Kelly Clasen); and her grandchildren: Kai Ordahl, Shea Ordahl, Kimberly Clasen; and a great-granddaughter, Charli Katherine Ordahl.
