Mary Regina Mulcahy (nee Lenihan) passed away Thursday, June 2, 2022.
She was born on September 6, 1949 to William F. and Mary Lenihan in New York City, New York.
Mary was especially known for her volunteer work at church and her generosity. She always had bottled water and a survival kit. She never met a bowling ball she couldn’t loft. She was also a night owl. You would wake up and she would have cupcakes ready for you to bring to school. Her greatest joy was her grandkids.
She is survived by her loving husband, William Mulcahy; four loving children: Michael (Sarah) Mulcahy, Mary Beth (Peter) Mulcahy, Jean (Adam) Mulcahy-Levy, and Chrissy (Barry) Fagerholt; eight loving grandchildren: Connor, Corinne, and Lauren Mulcahy, Benjamin G. Cogan, Hudson and Brooks Fagerholt; and three sisters: Margaret Bavosa, Barbara Garabrant, and Anne Hennlley. She was predeceased by her dear son, James Mulcahy.
Visitation will take place from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd. A Rosary will be held at 10:15 a.m. and Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 4925 North Carefree Circle, Colorado Springs, CO 80917.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to Pikes Peak Hospice Foundation or St. Vincent DePaul Society.
