Michael Kenneth Schlager, age 57, passed away on January 29, 2022. He was a resident of Colorado Springs for ten years and was formerly of New Port Ritchey, Florida. Michael was born on January 31, 1964, to Richard and Aileen (Douglas) Schlager in Weymouth, Massachusetts; he grew up in Massachusetts. Michael worked as a mover, and he could fix anything “with a cigarette butt and superglue.”
Michael is survived by his sons: Richard Schlager and Michael Schlager, Jr.; his brothers: Ritchie Schlager and Kevin Schlager; his sister: Kelly Schlager; and his nephew: Dakota Schlager. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Aileen (Douglas) Schlager, and his brother, Robert Schlager.
In honor of Michael, memorials may be made to Springs Rescue Mission.
