Patricia Joanne Doyle passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, in Divide, Colorado.
Pat was born on July 26, 1930, to John G. Smith and Beatrice R. Schwalbach. On October 6, 1951, Pat married the love of her life William “Bill” T. Doyle in Akron, Ohio. Pat and Bill were residents of Colorado Springs, Colorado for 47 years. They were also residents in Avon, Colorado for 12 years where she worked as the Town Clerk. Pat enjoyed cooking, baking, walking, and being around family and friends. Pat and Bill loved going to Florida for the winter to be with friends, to go fishing, and to participate in shuffleboard competitions. Pat and Bill were married for 71 years.
Pat is survived by her 6 children: Dan (Kate), Dave (Diane), Doug (Rose), Deb (Steve), Dare (Deb), Bill (Michelle); 8 grandchildren: Tyler, Kelly, Chad, Ryan, Justin, Aleena, Ray, Luke; 3 great-grandchildren: Isabel, Declan, Ryker; and Pat’s surviving siblings, Maryann and Jack.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 15 at 2:00 pm at the Shrine of Remembrance, “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado, 80910.
