Patricia Edwards – May 1, 2026

Patricia Edwards passed away on May 1, 2026. She was a resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado for 50 years. She worked as a dental hygienist and was a wonderful homemaker.

Patricia was born on July 28, 1937, to George Travis and Leola (Walker) Travis in Shattuck, Oklahoma, as that was the closest hospital to their home in Follett, Texas. On August 16, 1958, she married Jack Edwards in Bedford, England.

Pat was a talented and prolific painter. She spent many hours in her studio creating still life paintings and portraits. She also loved playing tennis. She attended Follett High School and graduated from West Texas State University with an Associate’s Degree. She earned a Certificate of Dental Hygiene from the University of Texas in 1958.

She is survived by her children: Jennifer (John) Luke, Nancy Bohanan, and Amy (Leal) Lauderbaugh; 11 grandchildren: Andrew, Grace, Jack, Taylor, Kali, Harper, Travis, Ellen, Alex, Laura, and Allison; and 9 great grandchildren: Rosy, Iver, Ellis, Tate, Ursa, Everett, Beckham, and Sienna. Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; daughter, Robin; sisters, Trixie Brown and Jan Goff; and brother, Bob Travis.

A Life Celebration Reception will be held at her home on May 23, 2026, from 2-4 pm. For further information, please reach out to Nancy via the Shrine of Remembrance at 719-634-1597.

Pat was a kind, strong, gentle and generous person with an easy laugh. She touched so many lives and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
