Patricia Irene Sandra Grimaldo, age 65 passed away peacefully on February 3, 2023, due to a fatal car crash.
Patricia was born and raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Ralph and Priscilla Grimaldo on July 23, 1957. She was married to Maurice Matthews (Moe) for 21 wonderful years.
She is survived by her husband, Moe; and her 4 children: Jesus, Caesarey, Justin, and Leanna; 2 brothers: Ernest Garcia from Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Ralph Jr. Grimaldo (Tavita) from Longmont, Colorado; 6 sisters: Evelyn Hall (Tim) from Falcon, Colorado, Catherine Rivera (Jose) from Chicago, Illinois, Rebecca Ortega (Alvaro) from Longmont, Colorado, Laurie Ann Martinez Grimaldo from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Maxine Kay Juvera from Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Susan Ann Grimaldo (Claude) from Colorado Springs, Colorado. Patricia has 17 grandchildren.
Patricia was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to knit and loved taking care of her grandchildren. Patricia also loved going to church, was caring, and loved helping others.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023 with private viewing from 1:00-2:00pm and services starting at 2:00pm. Food will follow at Hillside Community Center, 925 S. Institute St., 80903.
