Peter Alden Joy, 81 years, passed away on September 5, 2022. He was a resident of Loveland for 9 years, and Colorado Springs for 28 years. Peter was retired from the US Army and Civil Service.

Peter was born on January 13th, 1941, to Geraldine Lord in Niagara Falls, New York. Peter was fond of hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, working around the house and yard, and spending time with friends and family.

He is survived by his loving wife Sigrid Joy; his daughter Michelle Ryder; his grandchildren Josef Raulston, Annika Boyer, Emma Boyer, Erika Raulston; and his sons-in-law David Ryder and Brad Raulston. He was preceded in death by his sister Sue Hotchkins and his daughter Melissa Raulston.

A memorial service and reception will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Peter’s name may be made to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Charitable Service Trust at dav.org
