Philip Gabriel Gallegos “Philly G”, 55, passed away unexpectedly on June 15, 2023, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born on September 1, 1967, in Riverside, California, to Angie Marie Gallegos and Lawrence Joseph Gallegos Sr. Philly G was a skilled HVAC technician who worked in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. He attended Holmes Jr. High and graduated from Coronado High School.

Philly G had a passion for fishing, boating, sports, and grilling. He was a loyal fan of the Raiders, CU football, and World Champion Nuggets. Philly is survived by his daughter, Michelle Ingram, and brothers Joe Gallegos, Mark Trujillo and Anthony Trujillo, and sister Estella Pease, and half-sister Debra Gallegos, as well as two grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Angie Marie Trujillo, father Lawrence Joseph Gallegos Sr., and stepdad Anthony Trujillo.


A celebration of Philly G’s life will be held on Thursday, June 29, at 2:00 pm at Shrine Remembrance. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Jean jacket and new kicks I’m sure are waiting for you on the other side, rest easy west side brother you will be missed but more importantly you will be remembered.
