Phyllis, age 71, passed away on September 16, 2026. She lived in Colorado Springs for over 40 years and was formerly a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Phyllis was born on February 21, 1955 to William Molina and Rose Sandoval (Garcia).
When Phyllis wasn’t at home enjoying retired life, she would spend her time with her family. She could often be found supporting her grandkids at their sports and other activities, or hunting down treasures at the thrift stores when she had the time. She enjoyed spending time with her two sons, or visiting family in Albuquerque with her Colorado family introducing them to her favorite spots.
Wherever she was she made the room feel brighter with her mischievous sense of humor and contagious laugh, as well as the comfort she provided by simply being there and listening. She wasn’t just a fun or funny person but someone people could turn to for anything. Her warmth, laughter, and love for her family will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her children, Richard and Steven; her two grandchildren, Emily and Alexander; her great-grandson, Julian; her sisters, Florence, Irene, and Lisa Michelle; her brothers William, Jerry and Andy; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, William; her mother, Rose; her brother, Michael; her cousin, Julie; her nephew, Mark; and her husband, Ricardo.
There will be a service at a later date in Santa Fe New Mexico.
