Rebecca Susan Bay (née Trulli) passed away suddenly on May 3rd, 2026, at her home in Colorado Springs. She was born December 2, 1950, in Upland, CA, the daughter of Nicholas and Betty Trulli.
Becky was, above all, the life of the party, with a wicked sense of humor and a quick wit that made everyone around her laugh. She loved to travel and could make friends anywhere. Once you were her friend, you stayed her friend for decades, no matter the distance. And nothing brought her more joy than gathering everyone around her own dinner table.
An incredible cook and an even better entertainer, Becky took early cooking classes from Martha Stewart, read cookbooks for fun, and trained briefly as a sommelier. A proud Italian, she loved to feed people, and a meal at her home was always an occasion.
Raised in Elkhart, IN, she made homes in Scottsdale, AZ; Redondo Beach, CA; South Weber, UT; West Orange, NJ; and Baltimore, MD, though the majority of her life unfolded in Colorado Springs and Northern California. Each place left her with a circle of beloved friends.
She spent her entire career in retail and wholesale; owning The Gold Key at The Broadmoor Hotel and Santa Fe West in downtown Colorado Springs, and later, Borderlands, a wholesale manufacturer’s repping firm in New York City.
Most of all, she adored her grandchildren. They were her world, and her return to Colorado Springs in recent years was, simply, about being close to them. Her boundless, adoring love will be deeply missed.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents and her three brothers, Terrance, Timothy, and Tom Trulli. She is survived by her daughters, Amy Bay (and Wade Nacinovich) and Kelsey (and Aaron Hunt), and her grandchildren, Leo Nacinovich, Irma Nacinovich, Emerson Hunt, and Will Hunt.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the GBS|CIDP Foundation International (Guillain-Barré). A small memorial for close family and friends will be held this weekend, with a celebration of life to follow this summer.

Rest in Peace Becky… I’m so glad you can breathe easier now. You will be missed and Kelsey and I will cheers to you often, remember you fondly and do small acts of kindness in your honor. Love you Becky

Becky will be soo very missed. Her fun loving spirit will be remembered forever and I am so lucky to have spend the time I did with her over the years. My deepest sympathy to her family and friends.
We met through our parents friendship back in the 1950s. We went to high school together and became friends as new parents. We last spoke on your birthday and I will cherish that conversation. You were always so full of life and love and I can’t believe you’re gone. Praying for God‘s peace and comfort for your family.

Terribly sad news. We had such a blast hanging out in Ireland, West Orange and our nights in NYC. You will be remembered RIP my friend.
Amy & Kelsey, your post was so well written and so descriptive of ur loving mother. She loved u both and her grandchildren so much! U all were the light of her life! I could tell her friends loved her since they first met her, just like I did in gradeschool. Her friendly personality drew everyone to her. She had a giggle and sense of humor that I loved to hear. She showed and gave love to everyone where ever she went. It was beautiful to see and receive. I miss u so much, my dear friend. I look forward to seeing u again on the other side. Till then I’ll be talking with u. I miss u and and love u my dear friend!
Becky was my Bella note rep and friend. She was stricken with GB in my store. I helped her at home with her dog. We lost contact and although I tried to remain friends it wasn’t to happen. About a week ago I searched again on Google to find her. That would have been about the time she passed. Maybe she went by me somehow. I was recently in Colorado Springs and I would have contacted her. But I have sweet thoughts about her always. May she rest peacefully.
My sister Theresa Burger talked of her friendship with Becky many times. Theresa and I went to visit Becky in Baltimore several years ago and we had so much fun! My condolences to the family as she will most certainly be missed.
Really sorry to hear this news. Becky was such a hard working and full of energy and life. She repped my furniture line for several years before i closed it in 2008. Becky was kind enough to open her NJ home to me during a visit and we reconnected briefly in portland, OR durning one of her visits. Its been several years since we touched base, but I will remember her with foundness. She will be missed horribly by so many, I know. Deepest condolences to her daughter and grand kids.
Becky was a joyful soul and a fun neighbor on Bay street in Baltimore. We were so glad to have known her and are sorry for your loss!
