Ricardo Ornelas, age 37, passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 28, 2022, in Colorado Springs. He was a lifelong resident of Colorado Springs. Ricardo was a sports coach and the “Most Loyal Gangster.” He was an amazing man who lived larger than life and was always willing to protect his family.
Ricardo is survived by his daughters: Solena Ornelas and Analayah Ornelas; his mother: Migdalia Ornelas; his siblings: Deloraida Ornelas and Timothy Lopez Rodriguez; his nephews: Josiah Ornelas, Bishop Lopez, Damien Lopez, and J Grant. He was preceded in death by his father: Ricky Ornelas; his grandfather: Victor Ornelas, and his grandmother: Elena Lopez Rodriguez.
A visitation will be held at 4:00 pm with a service to follow at 6:00 pm on April 7, 2022, at Colorado Springs Fellowship Church at 451 Windchime Center, Colorado Springs, CO 80919.
