Roberta Jean Schuster was born May 28, 1956, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She passed away March 1, 2024, at the Highland Ranch Hospital at the age of 67 years.

Roberta graduated from Coronado High School in Colorado Springs with the Class of 1974. 

On December 22, 1979, Roberta married Ronald Schuster at the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. They celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary this past December.  

Roberta and Ron made their first home in Colorado Springs, CO eventually relocating to Columbus, NE, then onto Cheyenne WY, before retiring in Pueblo West, CO.

While living in Colorado Springs, Roberta and Ron’s first son, Ronald Lenn Schuster II was born on January 15, 1982 and their second son, Robert Daniel Schuster was born on April 6, 1984.

Roberta was a devoted and loving wife to her husband, Ron, a wonderful mother to their two children, and a beloved grandma to three precious grandchildren. She loved spending time with her immediate family and grandchildren to celebrate birthdays, and holidays.  She also enjoyed reading her bible, baking with her grandchildren, camping in an RV and fishing at the family pond. Roberta had a love for her four-legged family members and had a unique way of connecting with them. She would amaze Ron with how she could train her pets to do tricks including teaching her cat Moses how to fetch.

Roberts was preceded in death her brother, Donald Young II. 

Survivors include her husband, Ron, of Pueblo West, Colorado; son, Ronald Schuster II, his wife, Angeline, and their son, Ronald Schuster III of Colorado Springs, Colorado; son, Robert Schuster, wife, Janine and their children: Isabella Schuster, Christian Schuster of Peoria, Arizona; father, Donald Young and his wife, Sandra of Prescott, Arizona; sister, Sandra (Young) Arzdorf and her, husband David of Phoenix, Arizona; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, along with countless friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00AM, Monday, March 11, 2024, at Shrine of Remembrance, “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910, with Karen Ohlson officiating.
