Sam was the kind of man who made people feel steady just by being there. He loved his family deeply, showed up without being asked, and gave of himself in quiet, lasting ways that will never be forgotten. He was a proud father, grandfather, and devoted family man whose love was seen in the everyday moments, the rides, the holidays, the phone calls, and the simple act of never missing what mattered most. His presence was a gift, and the love he gave will continue to live on in the family he cherished so much.

My best memory of Sam was the time we had together in New York attending the Air Force basketball tournament. He was a great friend and I will miss him.
