She was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church for many years and helped restore the stained-glass windows in the church. She always made time to bake banana bread, pumpkin bread and cakes to drop off at the local volunteer fire department. She loved making all sorts of crafts and giving them to people during the holidays or just to cheer them up. While in the nursing home Mom crocheted several baby blankets for staff members, she received a second and third place ribbon for her crafts at the St. Mary’s County Fair in Leonardtown, Maryland. She enjoyed bingo, playing the bells and taking part in several activities at the nursing home. Her favorite TV shows were NCIS and Criminal Minds and she loved to eat funnel cake. Above all, she was a loving wife, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
