Sarah F. Roth, 75 years, entered eternity on April 6, 2022.  She was born in 1946 and was the daughter of Lawrence and Marie Roth.  She was a resident of Colorado Springs since 2013 and was formerly a resident of Willis, Texas.  As a military child, Sarah called Virginia, Illinois, Panama, Rhode Island, Texas, California and Colorado home at various times throughout her life.

Sarah attended Clayton Valley high school in Concord, California and graduated in 1965.  Completing cosmetology school, she was a licensed beautician and throughout her life, and also worked as a caregiver, factory worker and telephone operator.  Caring for others was her gift.  Her compassion for others was deeply rooted because she truly loved to help people through her actions, words and deeds.  Sarah has been Mom to multiple birds, cats and dogs.  She was also known to be the connoisseur of fine herbs and hilarious humor.  She volunteered for Silver Key and in the year 2020, received the Presidential Volunteer Award.

Sarah’s hobbies included everything wildlife and crochet.  Sarah was especially fond of hummingbirds, butterflies, raccoons, squirrels and elephants.  Her talent with yarn created amazing afghans that delight any room.  Family members and friends are honored to own these fantastic blankets.

Sarah was preceded in death by her father and mother, sister Eileen Berk and brother Lawrence Roth.  She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law (Debra and Thomas Wright); her nieces and their husbands, (Erica and Brannan Castor; Denise and Alston Pinter; Diana and Matthew Hartle), her great nieces and nephew (Jadzia Hartle, Aeryn Pinter, Nikola Hartle, and Quentin Castor), numerous cousins and close lifelong friends.
