Savannah Shea Holmes, 36 years of age, entered heaven on Saturday, May 10, 2025 from her family home in Monument, Colorado. Family and friends find peace in knowing she is safe and cherished in her heavenly home.

Savannah was born on August 7, 1988, in Liberal, Kansas to Merlin and Zoe Ann (Schmidt) Holmes. She was the oldest of five children.  The Holmes family moved to Colorado in August of 1996, where Savannah continued her education and graduated from Lewis-Palmer High School.

Savannah loved Jesus and her family.  She enjoyed word search puzzles, taking pictures, creative arts and crafts, bird watching, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.  Savannah was fond of birthday celebrations and holidays, never allowing them to be forgotten. Visiting theme parks and riding rollercoasters was thrilling for her and put a huge smile on her face.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brothers: Garrett Holmes, Weston Holmes, Karsten Holmes, Bennett Holmes, and her two nephews, Kelton Holmes and Torin Holmes. Savannah was loved by many extended family members, and friends who will cherish her memory. Savannah’s life provided an impactful foundation on the lives of those she touched. Now in the presence of her Heavenly Father, she leaves behind a world made brighter by her presence, and in the hearts and memories of her family and friends, which will never be forgotten.

Wellspring Community in Castle Rock, Colorado provided a community of engagement, and friendship for Savannah. Participation in Wellspring Community  provided enjoyment, a sense of belonging, and a caring community of STARS and staff.  Memorials may be sent in honor of Savannah Holmes to Wellspring Community at: https://secure.qgiv.com/for/inlovingmemoryofsavannah/

Sending you all the prayers of comfort and healing for your family during this incredibly tough loss. There are no words to describe the amount of pain and heartache that you are going through right now. Savannah was so young and loved by everyone and she seemed like she had a wonderful Spirit and heart for others and she always seemed happy but I barely knew her. Savannah is now in the Kingdom of Heaven where our Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother dwell and there is no more pain, death, or sorrow and there’s only peace and happiness with God for an eternity. I hope that the family continues to have amazing faith by putting God first in all things that they do and loves their spiritual brothers and sisters while walking the path to the kingdom of heaven. They say that time heals all wounds but there’s no time limit for the grief of a loved one, so please take all the time you need to grieve Savannah. I wish the family many blessings and happiness moving forward.
