Sharlene Sullivan passed away October 2, 2026 at the age of 83. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Lauri Strauss and Heidi Ross, and her son, Trent Strauss.
Sharlene was born in 1942 to Fred and Ethel Schuster (nee Hamilton) in Shawano, WI, one of seven children.
She was married shortly after graduating from Shawano High School to her first husband, Leroy Strauss, who survives.
They moved to Colorado Springs in 1964 where she lived for most of the rest of her life. Sharlene got a job with the Civil Service as a computer operator working at ENT Air Force Base and later at Cheyenne Mountain. This is when she met and married her second husband, William Sullivan, who passed in 2002.
Sharlene attended Rock of Ages Lutheran Church where she was heavily involved with the Ladies Guild. She loved to work in her garden and always had fresh tomatoes. She was a devoted mother and taught her children to always have faith in themselves and in God.
Services were held at Rock of Ages Lutheran Church on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 11:00 A.M.
