Sharon was born on March 6, 1949, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to Donald and Mildred Krogman. She married her high school sweetheart, RV John Edmonds Jr., on April 28, 1973. During John’s service in the U.S. Army, they had the opportunity to travel and live abroad before eventually settling back in Colorado Springs, where they built their life and raised their family.
Sharon devoted many years to caring for her family and creating a loving home while also building a career with U.S. Bank, from which she later retired. Above all, family was at the heart of her life, and she treasured the time spent with those she loved. She was also a loyal Denver Broncos fan and enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and taking trips to the casino.
Her love of baking was well known among family and friends, especially during the holidays. The cookies she made each year became a cherished tradition and were always shared with those she loved.
Sharon is survived by her husband, RV John Edmonds Jr.; her son, RV John Edmonds III (Judy); her daughter, Tammy Haver (Joe); her four grandsons: Tyler, Tanner (Celina), Ben (Harley), and Charlie; her great-grandson, Victor; and her brother, Kent (Joleen) Krogman. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Krogman; her mother, Mildred Krogman; and her brother, Brian Krogman.
Her family will remember her for her love and compassion, sense of tradition, and the many special memories she created throughout her life.
A visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, October 2, 2026, at the Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 E. Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910. Interment will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3825 Airport Rd, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910.
