Sherol Ann Woody (Williams), 74, passed away on January 7, 2022.  “Sherry” was a resident of Colorado Springs from the mid-1960s and was formerly of Rapid City, South Dakota. Sherol graduated from Rapid City High School in 1965 and also attended Widefield High School.  She later graduated from Blair Business College in Colorado Springs and was an active member of the Alpha Iota Sorority throughout her life.

A majority of Sherol’s professional career was spent in the health insurance industry as a claims manager.  She enjoyed nature, gardening, and handcrafts. Her faith in God as well as spending time with family and friends were always her priority.  Sherol touched the lives of everyone she met with her smile, gifts, and her loving heart.

She is survived by her sons: Dave Woody (April), Dan Woody (Loretta), and Doug Woody (Melissa); her brothers: Rick Williams and Mike Williams; her sisters: Donna Humphrey, Joan Turner, and Becky Groth.  She is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  Sherol was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Dorothy Williams.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Shrine of Remembrance, “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd, Colorado Springs, Colorado, 80910. Scattering will occur at the Shrine of Remembrance as well as at the family burial plot in Rapid City, South Dakota at a later date.

Following the service, a celebration of life luncheon will be held at the Fraternal Order of Eagles #143 1050 S. 21st St., Colorado Springs, CO 80904.
