Stephen Michael Reed, age 53, passed away on May 4, 2023. He was a resident of Colorado Springs for 41 years and a former resident of California.
Steve was born on May 26, 1969, to the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Lipot) Reed in Huntington Beach, California. On July 3, 2003, he married Jenifer Erbaugh in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Steve loved working on cars, grilling, and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. Most importantly Steve loved spending time with family and close friends.
Steve graduated from Denver Technical College with a degree in architectural drafting, where he met his wife Jenifer in 1999. He also graduated from Intellitec College with a degree in mechanical drafting. Steve worked for Rio Grande Co. in Denver as a re-bar detailer for over 10 years.
Steve is survived by his loving wife Jenifer. His sons: Parker McKeon of Texas, Kayne and Vincent Reed of Colorado Springs; four grandchildren: Skye, Tinsley, Melody and Kalub; one sister: Mary Baca of Pueblo, CO.
A celebration of Steve’s life will be held at the convenience of the family.
